beautiful retro build but switched off video when 350,,was mentioned my dad had a 40...... years ago that had a 350 in it he couldn't keep the fuel up to it .....plus i hate chevy engines have my reasons...i will stick to my ever trusty n/a 1hz 80 series

I have come across a 1985 hj61 original colour is silver ... does this mean it was part of the 1- 500 the ss 60 series... just not sure

What's better on fuel in this an auto or a manual

Dog makes entrance at 5:02 I'm not a fan of anything petrol especially a V8 swap but I will say that the owner won't have any problem over taking a road train outside Under Water World. In conclusion it's actually quite nice and usable. I'd leave it as it is.

The FJ62 with 3F carb models, square headlamps started in '88, up to '90 I believe? Mine is a base FJ62 from '89, in the South African Bushveld. I just finished the front axle and hubs today, seals, tranion bearings etc, now needs a new Aisin waterpump, etc.

I thought that the grinder was not working when the kid was working on the diff....then I realised I had my earbuds on 😅

Whats not to love

Just put a new roof on my HJ60, I had a nightmare finding gutters, I installed VW T25 gutters on instead. I am considering putting a turbo in it once it is out of the spray shop. I am cautious about doing this though ??

Great to see a F engine they never get any love but are a strong reliable engine even though they drink more than I do on a Thursday night at the local pub.

Good to see another FJ being driven, one would nearly think that FJ's are a dying breed, with everybody putting in 12HT and the like. Own one myself for the last 25 years, early FJ62 Sahara in near original condition. Just came back from Vic high country to SA, reliable as always.
